Dr Adelaide Smith, BDSc

I am a passionate dentist at Northside Dental Solutions, where I've been practising since March 2022. Working here is truly my dream job! I love helping patients achieve their dental health goals, whether we're embarking on a journey to improve their oral health or maintaining it through regular check-ups.

My journey in dentistry began at Charles Sturt University. Unlike many, I actually enjoyed visiting the dentist as a child—my parents always made it a positive experience by bribing us with baked goods after each appointment! I ultimately chose dentistry because it combines my interest in science, enjoyment of working with my hands and deep love for chatting with people.

The team at Northside Dental Solutions brings joy and ease to every day, making this the best job I've ever had. The supportive environment allows me to focus on providing exceptional care to every patient.

When I'm not at the dental practice, you'll likely find me walking my small dog Gimli along the Kedron Brook or trying new restaurants and bakeries around Brisbane.

Something unique about my family is that we still meet every Monday night for dinner at my aunty's house—all aunties, uncles, cousins, current partners, babies and dogs included. It's always lively and one of the highlights of my week.

A fun fact about me is that I'm incredibly curious about everything around me—to the point where you'll find me using flight radar and vessel finder apps to identify exactly which plane is flying overhead or which boat is leaving a marina!
